i like the golden globes because it covers everything tv and movie, although i honestly only care about the movie part. that is unless jimmy fallon or eric stonestreet is involved.
i really loved tina fey and amy poehler as the hosts. they were so so funny.
of all the winners, i was so happy to see christopher waltz win for his performance in django unchained. although i would of loved to see leonardo dicaprio win, christopher deserved it. and his speech was good. (you know me and my speeches ..)
hugh jackman and anne hathaway won for les miserables, as well as the film winning best musical or comedy. since i loved this movie so much, i enjoyed how much praise the movie received. i fell in love with hugh jackman's acceptance speech which made me love the man even more.
i am over the moon that daniel day lewis won for his role in lincoln. he is my favorite actor and his performance in the steven spielberg film was one of the best i've seen. his speech made me shake .. i'm not kidding. he was so humble and doesn't seem to take himself seriously which makes him such an admirable actor. i stinking love him.
i wasn't too impressed with the fashion unfortunately. it seems like it gets worse every year. nothing really stood out for me, but i did like a few.
anne hathaway looked stunning in chanel haute couture. she rocks her short hair so well.
i loved kerry washington's miu miu dress. it was so out of the norm which i loved. i feel like celebrities wear the big, dramatic dresses for these things and i liked that she did something different.
kate hudson looked stunning in alexander mcqueen. my favorite designer and one of my favorite red carpet personalities combined in one! she always seems to get it right. love her.
emily blunt was so beautiful in her michael kors gown. i really love gold on the red carpet, it looks so perfect.
and the coolest couple on the red carpet .. who else?!
so excited for the sag awards .. so much fun!
